Night 1: Hanoi – Lao Cai Overnight Train | Inclusion: Train ticket, transfer

DAY 1: LAO CAI - SAPA – CAT CAT- SIN CHAI
On arrival Lao Cai at dawn, picked by our guide at Lao Cai Train Station for 32 km road trip in to mountain. Check in hotel in Sapa Town. After breakfast, our adventures start with 3 km trekking down hill to Cat Cat Village of H’mong hilltribe minority people. You will have chance to enjoy the spectacular views of the beautiful valley. From here you can observe the magnificent Fansipan Mountain – the highest peak in Vietnam and Indochina. Walk around their village, meet & talk with locals to learn more about their daily life. There are opportunities to purchase handicrafts direct from the local community. The walk will take you to the beautiful Cascade waterfall and the old French hydroelectric power station over 100 years ago. More trekking to Sin Chai Village   where you will enjoy verdant terraces fiel. Lunch in Sapa town. Free time to discover Sapa town and fascinating  Sapa  Market. Have dinner and overnight in a hotel.

Night 2: Hotel | Inclusion: Transfer, guide, full-day meals, entrance fees, and hotel.

DAY 2: Y LINH HO – LAO CHAI – TA VAN
Sunrise breakfast on the cloud, today we will trek down to the central of Magnificent Valley of Muon Hoa, home of Minority people diversity of Dzay, Red Dzao, and Black H’mong. Trekking enroute we will picked up by minibus and drive back Sapa town by the other way.
The trip start with 5 km trekking down to Y Linh Ho Village of Black H’mong. Enjoy luch prepared by our guide at local house. In the afternoon we walk along the terrace fields to Lao Chai Villages of Black H’mong People; Visit school and more walking to Ta Van villge of Dzay Minority People. There are plenty time to discover the local life here and discover the culture diversity of hilltribe minority.  It is time to say good bye we we Say good bye to Zay people, you will be transferred to Sapa town by minibus bus, shower and checkout for another road trip down to Lao Cai. Dinner in a local restaurant before boarding Lao Cai – Hanoi overnight train.

Night 3: Lao Cai - Hanoi Overnight train | Inclusion: Transfer, guide, full-day meals, entrance fees, train tickets.

8pm boarding the train, after 8 hours we arrive at Tran Quy Cap railway station in Hanoi. Trip ends

All cabins are equipped with air-conditional and soft linens and basic necessities like individual reading light with the aim of making your stay the most enjoyable. Each carriage has one toilet at the end and open during journey.
The bunk berths are  comfortable, but if  you are taller than 1.83cm, you won’t be able to fully stretch out. You might pull your legs a bit. The ride is comfortable but it can be noisy of the train track is a bit bumpy ride. 

Based on experiences from our past travellers, we have some tips which may help you to have better trip to Sapa:
Luggage: You have to carry your own luggage during the trekking hence you should have a bagpack to carry necessary things like water, camera, personal stuff..

What to wear? You shoud have comfortable walking shoes, sandals, flip-flops, warm clothes for Winter ( Nov – April), raincoat, small umbrella, waterproof bags ( for the wet day) 

What to bring? Personal health care, insect repellent,  anti-diarrhea pills , spare batteries or charger, plastic bags for dirty clothes, toiletries ( specially when you’re going to sleep in village)...

How much for tip? Tip is welcomed and it depends on your budget. A tip after receiving good services will be greatly and genuinely. ( Generally around 50,000 vnd – 200,000 vnd per person – equal 2 usd – 10 usd)

Something you should not DO: don’t use drugs, don’t touch the sacred objests , don’t drink too much and make noise, don’t kiss in public, don’t take photos before asking their permission ( specially to elderly)

Day 1: Sapa – Y Linh Ho – Lao Chai – Ta Van - Sapa

Pick up at the train station when you arrive and transfer to Sapa 

Early check in is possible when you arrive if the room available otherwise we will provide you a basic room where you can have shower.

Start the trip at 9:30 as below.

First start of 6km of walking down to the south east of Sapa along the side of Muong Hoa valley to Y Linh Ho village of the Black H’mong. Conitue a 2km-trekking down to Lao Chai village, through terraced rice fields to Ta Van village of the Dzay minority people. Lunch at a local family, it gives you a worth chance for you to learn about the local house architecture which is full of their daily life styles and exclusive custom. Enjoy the landscapes…on the way. Last trek is about 2Km to the bus stop in Tavan then get back to Sapa by jeep or motorbike.


Night 2: Hotel | Inclusion: Transfer, guide, full-day meals, entrance fees, and hotel.

Day2: Cat Cat -  Sin Chai - Sapa

A walk down to the South-west of Sapa (around 4 km) to visit Cat Cat village of the Black H’mong. Relax at the food of the stunning waterfall and the vestige of a hydroelectric power station that was constructed by the French during the colonial time in Vietnam. Enjoy picnic lunch by the side of the river, and then next 3 km to Sin Chai, the village located at the foot of Fansipan Mountain, “the roof of Vietnam and Indochina”. From here you can enjoy huge stunning landscapes before climbing up on the way a jeep to return to Sapa.

Night 2: Hotel | Inclusion: Transfer, guide, full-day meals, entrance fees, and hotel.

Day 3: Sapa - Suoi Thau - Ma Tra - Ta Phin - Sapa - Lao Cai

5km by jeep, visit the red Dzao in Suoi Thau, Ma Tra villages. 9km trekking through the local village, the rice and corn field. Picnic lunch en –route. Reach Ta Phin village where we have chance to learn about the life styles and the custom of the red Dzao minority, enjoy landscapes…then drive back to Sapa.

Night 3: Lao Cai - Hanoi Overnight train | Inclusion: Transfer, guide, full-day meals, entrance fees, train tickets.

8pm boarding the train, after 8 hours we arrive at Tran Quy Cap railway station in Hanoi. Trip ends
